🏆Field Day 2023 - Volunteers Needed
Mosaic's Field Day is coming up on June 8 and parent volunteers help ensure the day runs smoothly! Available slots can be found on our volunteer sign-up form. Thank you in advance for your time and help!
💡Young Scholars Engineering Club
The 6th Grade Young Scholars presented their designs to an audience of their teachers, parents, and peers on Thursday, May 8th. The students have been learning how to use the Engineering Design Process to create a working scale model of a vertical farm in Mr. White’s classroom. They identified a problem, designed a solution, tested their idea, and revised their creations. The Young Scholars also used their new LEGO Spike kits to build and code a machine that would automate a function within their farm.
The program was funded by a grant from Educate Fairfax.
