Mosaic Elementary School Principal Mahri Aste is one of only nine school leaders recognized nationally by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a recipient of the 2022 Terrell H. Bell Awards for Outstanding School Leadership. The award recognizes outstanding school leaders and the vital role they play in guiding students and schools to excellence, frequently under challenging circumstances.

Mosaic Elementary School has been named a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. The Fairfax County public school is among seven schools in Virginia and 297 schools in the country receiving the honor this year.

Mrs. Brown received the elementary Libraries Transform Award from Library Information Services. The recipient is a person who has transformed the lives of their students and community through the learning, curiosity, collaboration, and discovery they inspire. Congratulations!
